Is my data secure?

You are prudent to be concerned about security and yes, our cloud based offerings are secure. Users access the services using a username and password over a secured connection. Much the same way as the would access your systems from outside the office now. These passwords are to be changed regularly and meet corporate requirements. Anti Virus, Anti Spam and encryption are just some examples of how we maintain a secure email service. You can remotely manage mobile devices and remotely erase corporate data should they be misplaced.

What happens if we lose our internet connection?

This is a good question. Well, you will lose connection to these services just like you would lose the ability to email now. However, you would still be able to generate new content, write new and replies to emails and work on any documents you have synchronised to your computer. We would also help advise you around best practice, such as 2 separate internet connections, mobile working and planning for disasters.

Backups

How do I back up my data?

You don’t, it’s done for you. In fact the majority of our offerings include geo-redundant backups, meaning your data is physically stored in different locations to maintain availability should something affect the local secure data centres. There are also several copies of the data kept locally and can be restored from up to 3 weeks if you require it.
